Richard Paxton

Senior Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer 

Richard Paxton is the practice principal for financial services, insurance, and health care in all geographic markets. Additionally, as one of the founding partners and the firm’s CEO, he is responsible for managing and growing capabilities across all practice segments and markets.

Richard has helped organizations achieve over $1.8 billion in cost benefit and revenue generation, particularly in the financial services and durable goods markets. An international speaker and widely sought practitioner, he is best known for his pioneering work in developing solutions that bridge business and technology, seamlessly. His recent innovations include perfecting a rapid approach to creating robust workflow and system designs, successfully applied on several large scale financial services and health care projects with strong, positive results.



Sanjay Avasthi

Senior Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer 

Sanjay Avasthi is one of the Alacer Group’s founding partners. As the firm’s COO, Sanjay manages all back office capabilities, project and program delivery, outsourcing and recruiting.

A tireless advocate for clients and employees throughout his career, Sanjay’s efforts have resulted in over $1 billion in cost efficiencies and new revenues.

A skilled innovator, he continually refines the interaction of technology and processes for front-and back-end system architecture. His accomplishments include check imaging systems, collection platform design, the first real-time proprietary payment platform for the U.S. banking and card industry, and creation of a customer acquisition intake portal for origination and fulfillment for financial services organizations.



Ed Sarausad

Senior Managing Partner and Chief Technology Officer 

Ed Sarausad is practice principal for Alacer’s technology solutions group. As such, Ed is responsible for managing and growing Alacer’s big data and data science consulting businesses as well as for forming key worldwide strategic technology partnerships.

With over 20 years of progressive Internet/IT/SaaS experience, from startups to established businesses, Ed is a champion for performance, cloud, mobile, and creating disruptive innovations using analysis of real-time data. His accomplishments include helping advance a $300 million online advertising market in Japan and Korea as well as transforming online services for banking, retail and travel clients around the world. He holds patents in data visualization, mobile advertising and binary differencing. A global communicator, Ed is fluent in Japanese and proficient in several other languages.
